History of Dwarkadhish Temple
Dwarkadhish Temple, also known as Jagat Mandir, is one of the most ancient and important Char Dham pilgrimage sites of India. It is dedicated to Lord Krishna who is worshipped here as the “King of Dwarka”.
The temple is believed to be originally built by Vajranabh, the great-grandson of Lord Krishna over 2500 years ago. The current five-storied temple structure is supported by 72 pillars and is built in Chalukya style architecture.
Located on the banks of the Arabian Sea, the temple offers a peaceful spiritual environment attracting lakhs of devotees every year for divine darshan and blessings.
